Throughout the 3-day journey, you will enjoy the expertise of a private guide and travel in a comfortable, private vehicle. The majority of the tour will be conducted along well-maintained highways and scenic, relaxed roads, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Madrid – Segovia – Ribera del Duero . Night in Burgos
Your guide will friendly welcome you at your accommodation in central Madrid. The first stop will be in Segovia to discover the majestic Roman aqueduct. After a brief walk, you will head to the famous Ribera del Duero region, where you will visit two wineries. With your guide, you will explore their facilities, gain insight into the wine production process through an engaging and captivating experience, and taste the exceptional wines they produce. Lunch will be served at one of the wineries, creating a truly unique experience.
After a day full of wine and culture, your guide will take you to your hotel in Burgos, a fantastic hotel ideally located to allow you to continue exploring this charming city. While not as well-known, Burgos is a hidden treasure, offering rich cultural and gastronomic experiences. Your guide will also provide recommendations to help you explore and enjoy the city and its cuisine.
RIOJA – NIGHT IN RIOJA
After a restful night and a delicious breakfast, your guide will pick you up to head towards La Rioja. On this day, you will visit two very different wineries, each offering a unique experience, culminating in a tasting of their exceptional wines. Throughout the day, you’ll be able to enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of La Rioja, filled with vineyards and mountain ranges, making this region truly one-of-a-kind.
Lunch will be served at the 1890 Bistro at Marqués de Riscal, a world-renowned landmark in the relationship between architecture and wine. You’ll savor a full, high-quality meal crafted with traditional regional products, offering a top-tier gastronomic experience in a unique setting.
After lunch at Marqués de Riscal, your guide will take you to your excellent and charming hotel, located in Laguardia, one of the most beautiful medieval towns in Spain.
Depending on your travel plans we can provide with different alternatives for your trip:
1-Return to Madrid with your guide.
On this day, you will begin your journey back to Madrid, but on the way, you will stop at a winery where you’ll enjoy a light lunch of tapas paired with excellent wines. After an unforgettable and unique experience over the past 3 days, your guide will drop you off at your hotel in Madrid
2- Connect with Barcelona: Train transportation to Barcelona. In case you would prefer to continue your trip to Barcelona we will provide train tickets to arrive in Barcelona safely.
3- Other destinations. Private transportation by car or minivan to San Sebastian or Bilbao. We can also provide transportation options for both cities.

- What it the pick -up time in Madrid? Pick-up is typically at around 9:00 AM but it is confirmed on a case-by-case basis
- At what time will we be back in Madrid on day 3? At around 15:00. Arrival depends on the traffic found approaching Madrid center
- Can I be picked up at the airport? Yes, but you should be ready at the airport to be picked up no later than 9:00 AM to ensure the itinerary is the same. Contact us in case of doubts.
- Can I pay with Amex? You need to contact us to be able to book with Amex

Can I have the name of the wineries we will visit? We do not advertise the names of the wineries visited and prefer not to provide them to ensure we keep the exclusivity of the tour to its maximum for our customers. We only visited small, top wineries that fit perfectly well into the schedule for the day.
- Can I propose which wineries to visit? We understand you may love some wines and would like to visit the winery where they are produced. We are happy to listen to your preferences but please bear in mind that some wines are great, but the wineries not worth visiting. Please bear also in mind that some wineries do not accept visits or are not available on many days. Lastly, visiting certain wineries may imply a huge detour. The local team is expert in Ribera del Duero and Rioja and will ensure your tour includes amazing wineries.

If you are booking well in advance you may prefer to pay a 20% deposit to reserve your date. If you book for less than 30 days we recommend you book paying the full amount. Full balance is requesterd 4 or 3 weeks prior to the starting tour date.
If cancelled 30 days before the start of your trip, 15% of the total services cost will be deducted. For cancellations within 30 days of the starting date of the service, 30% of the total cost will be charged. Tours cancelled 7 days or less prior to the first day of your trip are non-refundable. We advise that you consider purchasing Trip Cancellation / Travel Insurance.
